Summer Essentials #2: Water Bottles

It’s important to stay hydrated during these hot summer months, so let’s talk about water bottles, straws, and sippy cups! Personally I’m a fan of cups with straws for my 16 month old. I find it better for him than sippy cups, and you can read more about my reasons behind that here.

bkr water bottles are glass with a silicone sleeve to keep it from breaking. I use mine all day – at the gym, at home, on road trips. Plus they come in super fun colors. These have a normal cap, so they’re not really toddler or baby friendly (but you could always bring a straw and help your child drink from that).

lifefactory water bottles are great. I’ve been using them for my son since he was an infant. They make glass bottles for baby, toddler, and adults. Their silicone sleeves also come in great colors, and they have nipple and sippy cup attachments depending on the age of your child.

CamelBak® water bottles are a good choice. I typically don’t like plastic bottles, but they’re BPA free and kids just love them! You can find them at REI or even Target, and they’re very easy for kids to use.
